Harvest Pediatrics, Napa Valley’s premier pediatric practice, since 1986, announces an opening for a full-time physician.
Due to the retirement of a senior pediatrician, Harvest Pediatrics is seeking a full-time physician to join an experienced MD and two pediatric nurse practitioners in this thriving small practice with 2 locations serving Napa County, California, and surrounding counties.
We are seeking a board-certified Pediatrician experienced in general outpatient pediatrics to work four days/week and every 4th Saturday morning. A typical day consists of two, 3-hour shifts plus time for charting and correspondence and typically involves seeing 20 patients per day. Our very experienced staff of medical assistants, billing staff, and office management allow the physicians to concentrate on patient care.
Physicians share responsibility for well newborn care at the local hospital, but do not attend deliveries or care for ill newborns. Patient call responsibilities (1 in 3) shared among providers, and most calls are triaged by insurance helplines, making call nights exceptionally light.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. A generous benefits package includes medical and dental coverage, malpractice with tail coverage, a 401K with Safe Harbor match and generous vacation and sick leave allowances. We encourage those interested in a partnership to apply.
In addition to being one of the world’s best wine-producing regions, Napa Valley is a family-oriented community, perfect for raising children. Blessed with an abundance of good food, natural beauty and proximity to parks, the ocean, and the greater Bay Area, all of which make this an ideal location to practice and to live.
